Played for the Vikings under head coach Jared Swafford… Rated the eighth-best prospect in the state of Kansas for the Class of 2024 by On3 and ESPN… A first team all-state honoree as a senior from Sports in Kansas and KSHSAA Covered… Named the 2023 Kansas Sports Central Defensive Back of the Year… Totaled 104 tackles and 13 interceptions during his prep career to go along with 128 catches for 1,847 yards and 20 touchdowns on offense… Also played basketball, helping Seaman win a state championship.

Trae Davis / WR / 6’1″ 170 lbs/ 3 Stars / Troup, TX (Troup, High)

Regarded as the 279th-best overall prospect in the nation for the Class of 2024 by On3, while the service also views him as the 45th-best player in the state of Texas and the 47th-best wide receiver in the nation… Rated as an athlete by 247Sports, which ranked him No. 30 in the nation… Earned district MVP honors as a senior, while he was a first team all-district pick as both a junior and senior… Set 12 school records, including the game, season and career marks in both catches and receiving touchdowns… Hauled in 120 catches for 2,254 yards and 31 touchdowns over his prep career, while he also rushed for 1,272 yards and 14 touchdowns… Also competed in basketball – earning district newcomer of the year honors as a freshman and all-district honors as a sophomore – as he scored 1,000 career points, while he also competed in track and field.

Rated the 29th-best offensive tackle in the nation for the Class of 2024 by 247sports… Viewed as the third-best overall prospect in the state of Kansas by both 247Sports and ESPN… Named the 2023 Sports in Kansas Offensive Lineman of the Year among small classes as he helped lead Lyndon to a perfect 13-0 record and a state championship… A first team all-state honoree by Sports in Kansas and KSHSAA Covered as both a junior and senior… Picked up honorable mention all-state accolades as a junior from the Wichita Eagle… Was also the state heavyweight champion in weightlifting for the clean, while he was an all-state performer in the discus and shot put, and a second team all-state honoree in basketball.

Boone Morris / LB / 6’3″ 225 lbs / 3 Stars / Talco, TX (Mount Vernon High)

Rated the 52nd-best inside linebacker in the nation for the Class of 2024 by ESPN… Named the 2023 district defensive MVP… Picked up second team all-state honors as a junior from the Texas Sports Writers Association… Carded 501 tackles, 95 tackles for loss and 21 sacks over his prep career, which included a 205-tackle campaign as a senior and an 11-sack performance as a junior.

John “JB” Price / RB / 5’11” 190 lbs / 3 Stars / Overland Park, KS (Blue Valley High)

Regarded as the 12th-best all-purpose back in the Class of 2024 by Rivals, while the organization rates him as the second-best overall prospect in the state of Kansas… Also ranked No. 2 in the state by ESPN… Earned honorable mention all-state accolades as a senior from Sports in Kansas and KSHSAA Covered… An honorable mention all-state selection as a junior from the Wichita Eagle… Rushed for 1,979 yards and 20 touchdowns over his final two seasons in addition to hauling in 35 catches for 253 yards and another four scores… Also competed in track and field.

Kyle Rakers / OL / 6’4″ 290 lbs / 3 Stars / Norwalk, IA (Dowling Catholic)

Rated the 71st-best offensive guard nationally in the Class of 2024 by ESPN… Viewed as the 10th-best overall prospect in the state of Iowa by both 247Sports and ESPN… A three-year starter for Dowling Catholic, helping the Maroons to a combined 19-4 record over his final two seasons… Named to the Des Moines Register All-Iowa Elite Team among all classes as both a junior and a senior in addition to first team all-state honors both seasons… Also earned first team all-state honors as both a junior and senior from the Iowa Football Coaches Association/Iowa Print Sports Writers Association… Helped Dowling Catholic rush for 1,988 yards, pass for 1,402 yards and total 42 touchdowns during his senior campaign.

Zashon Rich / CB / 6’2″ 180 lbs / 3 Stars / Minneapolis, MN (North Community High)

Ranked as the 92nd-best cornerback nationally in the Class of 2024 by 247Sports, while On3 rates him as the ninth-best overall prospect in the state of Minnesota… A first team all-state honoree as a senior by the Associated Press and SBLive, while he was an all-district selection each of his final three years as a prep… Recorded nine tackles as a senior, while he caught 11 passes for 119 yards and a touchdown.

Jacques Spradley-Demps / WR / 6’1″ 195 lbs / 3 Stars / Jarrell, TX (Weiss High)

Regarded as the 276th-best overall prospect in the Class of 2024 by On3, while the organization rated him the 46th-best wide receiver in the class and the 44th-best overall prospect in the state of Texas… Caught 109 passes for 1,499 yards and 19 touchdowns over his final three prep seasons.

Blake Barnett / QB / 6’2″ 205 lbs / 3 Stars / Erie, CO (Erie High)

A four-year letterwinner and two-year team captain for the Tigers under head coach Jeff Giger… Rated the top overall player in the state of Colorado for the Class of 2024 by Rivals, while the organization views him as the sixth-best dual-threat quarterback in the class… Also rated the top overall prospect in the state by On3, in addition to being ranked as the 16th-best dual-threat quarterback in the country by ESPN… A three-year first team all-state player by the Colorado High School Activities Association, while he was named the Class 4A Player of the Year as a senior… Started all 43 career games played and led the Tigers to a 36-7 record, including a state championship as a senior… Broke the Colorado state record for overall touchdowns with 159, a record that was previously held by current San Francisco 49er running back Christian McCaffrey (141)… Threw for 7,518 yards and 88 touchdowns in addition to running for 3,420 yards and another 68 scores during his prep career… Prepped with current Wildcat offensive lineman John Pastore… Also a three-year letterwinner in track – winning state championships in the 100-meter dash and 4×200-meter dash – while he was a two-year letterwinner in basketball.

DeVon Rice / RB / 5’9″ 180 lbs / 3 Stars / Las Vegas, NV (Bishop Gorman HS)

Played for the Gales under head coach Brent Browner… Regarded as the 66th-best running back in the Class of 2024 by ESPN, while the organization views him as the fifth-best overall player in the state of Nevada… Rated as an athlete by 247Sports, which ranked him 99th in the nation, in addition to ranking him the fourth-best prospect in the state… Helped Bishop Gorman capture three state championships during his career as the Gales are ranked No. 1 in the nation by USA TODAY… Bishop Gorman also won the 2022 ESPN GEICO Bowl… Rushed for 1,679 yards and 25 touchdowns during his career in addition to hauling in 18 receptions for 350 yards and seven scores… First K-State signee from the state of Nevada since at least 1989. Father, Rodney, played football at BYU before spending the 1989 (New England) and 1990 (Tampa Bay) seasons in the NFL. Brother, Quenton, is a cornerback at BYU.

Jake Stonebraker / LB / 6’1″ 205 lbs / 3 Stars / Castle Rock, CO (Douglas County High)

Rated the top overall prospect in the state of Colorado for the Class of 2024 by ESPN, while he is viewed as the 50th-best outside linebacker nationally by Rivals… Ranked as an athlete by ESPN, which placed him 36th in the nation… Earned all-state honors from the Colorado High School Activities Association as both a junior and senior… Totaled 115 tackles, 15.0 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and two interceptions during his prep career… Was also dangerous on offense, rushing for 2,180 yards and 21 touchdowns during his career.

Malcolm Alcorn-Crowder / DL / 6’6″ 295 lbs / 3 Stars / Previous School: Butler CC

Played the 2023 season for the Grizzlies under head coach and former Wildcat Bryce Vignery… Regarded as the fifth-best overall community-college prospect in the Class of 2024 by ESPN, while the organization rates him the second-best defensive tackle… Ranks No. 17 among all community-college prospects by Rivals and No. 19 by 247Sports… Played in nine games during the 2023 season, earning honorable mention all-conference honors… Totaled 28 tackles, 10.0 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks and two forced fumbles on the season. Dante Thomas / Safety / 6’1″ 190 lbs / 3 Stars / Previous School: Southwest Mississippi CC

AT SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI CC: Played the 2023 season for the Bears under head coach Cliff Collins… Collected 43 tackles, four pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on the season… Had a season high eight tackles against Mississippi Gulf Coast and seven tackles at Hinds, the latter of which he forced and recovered a fumble… Broke up two passes at Mississippi Delta and once apiece against East Central and Holmes. TWO YEARS OF ELIGIBILITY REMAINING

AT NORTHWESTERN STATE: Played in 15 games over parts of spring 2021, fall 2021 and 2022 seasons for the Demons… Recorded 21 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one interception and five total passes defended over his career at NSU… Had a career-high five tackles against Houston Christian in 2022, a game in which he recorded his first-career interception… Broke up a career-high three passes in 2022 against Southeastern Louisiana, while his full tackle for loss was at North Texas in the fall of 2021.

Transfer Portal Signings

Jordan Riley / Safety / 6’1″ 189 lbs / 3 stars / Previous School: Ball State

Played in 37 games over three seasons at Ball State with starts in all 24 contests over the 2022 and 2023 seasons… Earned All-MAC honors in 2022… Totaled 167 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, one sack, 20 pass breakups, a forced fumble and fumble recovery during his career… Finished the 2022 season ranking second on the team with 97 tackles and leading the squad with 12 pass breakups… Tallied a career-high 14 stops against UConn in addition to forcing a fumble that led to the eventual game-winning touchdown as he earned MAC Defensive Player of the Week honors… Also posted 11-tackle games in 2022 against both Northern Illinois and Kent State… Had a career-best four pass breakups at Georgia Southern in 2022, a mark that tied for 13th in the nation… Tied for sixth in the MAC with 12 passes defended in 2022, while he had 5.1 solo tackles per game to tie for 24th in the nation… Led the team with eight pass breakups in 2023, while he finished third on the squad with 61 tackles… Had a 2023 season high nine tackles against Georgia Southern, while he carded 2.0 tackles for loss against Central Michigan.

Easton Kilty / Offensive Line / 6′ 5″ 305 lbs / 4 stars / Previous School: North Dakota

Played parts of four seasons for the Fighting Hawks… Started every game during the 2023 season at left tackle as he earned Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference honors… Started 12 games at right guard as a sophomore in 2022, while he started 11 games as a redshirt freshman – the first three at right tackle and the final eight at left guard… Saw action in three games in the spring of 2021 to retain his redshirt as he made his first-career start at right guard in the FCS playoff game against No. 12 Missouri State in addition to the FCS quarterfinal at No. 1 James Madison.

Travis Bates / Defensive End / 6′ 3″ 265 lbs / 3 stars / Previous School: Austin Peay

Played the 2023 season at Austin Peay, recording 32 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, two pass breakups and blocked a kick en route to Freshman All-America honors from Phil Steele… Had a career-best six tackles at Eastern Kentucky – all solo stops – to go with a career-best 2.0 tackles for loss and a sack… Also recorded a sack against Central Arkansas… Carded five tackles against Chattanooga and four against Tennessee, East Tennessee State and Stephen F. Austin… Redshirted the 2022 season.
