MANHATTAN, Kansas (Kansas State Athletics) – K-State head coach Jeff Mittie has added to his support staff for the 2022-23 season, as he has selected Kacie Jones as the Director of Women’s Basketball Administration.

“We are excited to add Kacie to our staff this season,” said Mittie about the program’s newest addition. “She has been on our coaching radar for a couple of years now if the right situation presented itself. I am looking forward to her beginning to work with our staff and our players.”

Jones will be responsible for a number of administrative duties within the program including: coordinating staff and team travel and logistics, money and budget management, manage all home game logistics, on-campus recruiting logistics, training table coordination, camp/clinic budgets, daily office operations, and direct program contact for all other KSA departments.

In track and field, Jones claimed the 2016 NSIC Outdoor discus title with a throw of 158′ 7″ earning All-NSIC honors. Her efforts resulted in becoming a 2016 National Qualifier in the discus, where she finished 18th with a throw of 141′ 11″. Her success in the ring earned herself USTFCCCA All-Region and All-Academic honors as a senior.
