K-State football rounds out big transfer day with five new additions

It was a busy transfer day for the Wildcats on Monday, with seven new additions signing to play for Kansas State, including five players announced in the afternoon and evening.

Defensive tackle De’Arieun Hicks (Gardner-Webb), running back Rodney Fields Jr. (Oklahoma State), safety Koy Beasley (Miami of Ohio), linebacker Jacobi Oliphant Jr. (Oklahoma State) and safety Kaleb Patterson (Illinois) all signed to play for K-State in 2026.

The quintet brings K-State transfer total to nine so far, in addition to cornerback Keshawn Davila (cornerback), offensive lineman Keiton Jones (Missouri), wide receiver Izaiah Williams (Texas A&M) and punter Dylan Davidson (Emporia State).
