K-State to Honor Klein, Tyler Lockett, four others in Ring of Honor Ceremony
A pre-game ceremony Saturday will see six new names added to the Ring of Honor at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. New Cats offensive coordinator Colin Klein is among them and head coach Chris Klieman is happy for one-time Heisman runner-up.
Joining Klein will be former teammates wide receiver and 2014 consensus All-American Tyler Lockett and linebacker and 2012 Big 12 defensive player of the year Arthur Brown, Big 12 title winning quarterback Ell Roberson, late-90’s era defensive end and two-time All Big-12 performer Darren Howard and running back Larry Brown, who went from being a high-caliber blocking back at K-State to NFL MVP in 1972 for Washington, having become the first Washington running back to run for one-thousand yards.
