K-State infielder Seth Dardar is entering the transfer portal

After one season at K-State, infielder Seth Dardar has entered the transfer portal, according to Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball.

At the plate, Dardar led K-State in multiple categories. Finishing the year with a team best .326 batting average, 18 doubles and a 1.065 OPS. He was also one of the top batters with 60 hits, 45 RBI and 13 home runs. The Wildcats set a new single-season home run record this year with 97.

With his 50 starts this season, Dardar was key in the Wildcats returning to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season. K-State went 1-2 at the Austin Regional and finished the season with a 32-26 record.

Dardar will have one year of eligibility remaining.
