MANHATTAN, Kansas – K-State (3-3-1) enters its final non-conference matches of the 2022 season with three wins in its last five matches. The Wildcats host Colorado State at Buser Family Park on Thursday night at 7 p.m. K-State then travels to Brookings, South Dakota, to face South Dakota State on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Last Time Out
• K-State hosted Yale on Senior Night and recorded a 1-0 win, snapping a seven-match winless stretch (0-4-3) at Buser Family Park. Friday’s match against the Bulldogs was the 50th match at Buser Family Park in program history.
• Freshman Andra Mohler tallied her first career goal with a skipping shot from 17 yards in the 38th minute to record the game-winning goal. Mohler is the first freshman to pocket a game-winning goal since Adah Anderson against North Alabama on Aug. 29, 2021.
• K-State has now scored at least one goal in a school record seven consecutive matches.
• Junior goalkeeper Alaina Werremeyer tied her career season-high with her third shutout of the season. Werremeyer collected four saves on the night, all in the second half.
• Werremeyer owns an active season-high of 155:56 consecutive minutes of shutout soccer.

K-State Posts Blank Scoresheets
• The Wildcats have notched a trio of shutouts in the 2022 season.
• K-State recorded its first shutout of the season with a stellar team defensive effort at UTRGV. The Wildcats kept UTRGV off the scoreboard and surrendered just three total shots, the second fewest shots allowed in a match in program history and fewest in a shut out.
• K-State added its second shutout of the season with a 1-0 win at Weber State on Sept. 1.
• The Wildcats’ third shutout came against Ivy League foe, Yale, on Sept. 9.
• In the 2021 season, the Wildcats tied the school record for shutouts in a season with six, which included a school-record shutout streak of 317:55. The Wildcats tied the school record for consecutive shutouts with three.
• In its seven seasons of action, the Wildcats have registered 33 shutouts. Kansas State owns an all-time record of 25-0-8 in games allowing zero goals.
• Of the 33 shutouts in program history, two goalkeepers own 19 of them. Miranda Larkin set the school record for career shutouts with 10, while former goalkeeper Emma Malsy has the other nine.
• The active goalkeepers on the K-State roster – Rachel Harris, and Alaina Werremeyer – have tallied nine shutouts in their K-State careers. Werremeyer ranks third in school history for career shutouts with eight, while Harris owns one.

Purple Pitch
• K-State has played 50 home matches in its 109-game history, but have felt more comfortable at Buser Family Park.
• The Wildcats are 16-30-4 at home, including a school record four-match home field winning streak and a five-match unbeaten streak which spanned the end of the 2016 home schedule and the start of the 2017 home slate.
• In the 50 home matches, the Wildcats have been outscored by its opponents, 68-51 (-17).
• Overall in matches played within the Sunflower State, Kansas State owns a record of 18-31-5.

Firing Range
• While setting the school record for consecutive games with a goal at seven, Kansas State has pummelled the opposing net with shots – notching 116 attempts through seven matches.
• The Wildcats rank fourth in the Big 12 in shots. K-State ranks fourth in the league and 46th in the nation in shots per game (16.57 spg).
• K-State has recorded 20 or more shots in a match three times this season, including 27 against Northern Colorado on Aug. 21.
• In the 2021 season, the Wildcats were seventh in the Big 12 in total shots (248) and for shots per game (13.78). The 248 shots were the second most in program history.
• The Wildcats had five matches with 20 or more shots in the 2021 season. K-State recorded a season-high 27 shots against UTRGV on Sept. 19, which tied for second in program history for shots in a single-match and were the most since the Wildcats tallied 27 against Arkansas State on Aug. 29, 2019.
• The school record for total shots in a season is 276 set in 2019, while the shots per game mark stands at 15.3 also in 2019.

W for Werremeyer
• Junior goalkeeper Alaina Werremeyer has registered a strong start to the 2022 season and is ascending the K-State career wins and and shutouts lists.
• Against Yale on Sept. 9, Werremeyer notched her eighth career shutout and third this season with four saves on the night to collect her third victory of the season. She is second in school history for career wins (8) and shutouts (8).
• For the season, she has six starts with a record of 3-3-0 and three shutouts. Werremeyer has collected 22 saves (3.67 spg) and a save percentage of .786. She owns a goals against average of 1.00 and an active streak of 155:56 consecutive shut out minutes.
• In the 2021 season, Werremeyer finished with a career-best 1.54 goals against average and a save percentage of .786 with a career-high 88 saves.
• The product of Blue Springs, Missouri, ranks second in program history for career matches played in goal (30) and for career starts in goal (29). She is second in program history for career minutes (2,726:14) in goal and is second in program history for career saves (150).

Impact From This Mohler
• Freshman Andra Mohler broke through with her first career goal in K-State’s win against Yale on Sept. 9.
• Entering off the bench, Mohler fired a shot from 17 yards that skidded under the reach of Yale’s goalkeeper. Mohler is the second Wildcat this season to score after entering a match as a substitute.
• Mohler is the first K-State freshman to score a game-winning goal since Adah Anderson against North Alabama on Aug. 29, 2021.
• This season, Mohler owns four shots with three on goal to go with her goal scored.
