Klein hoping for plenty retention as he starts to form K-State’s 2026 roster

Roster turnover is unavoidable when schools face a coaching change. But Kansas State is hoping that some previous relationships established by head coach Collin Klein can keep some of the roster’s most impactful players around for another year or two.
Klein, who served as K-State’s quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator before leaving for Texas A&M before the 2024 season, had an early team meeting with the players still on campus during his short time back in Manhattan late last week.
